For a normal one layer you will need 2 feet of “border” string folded in half and one beading string about 4 feet long. Hold the border string and the beading string together then make an overhand knot leaving a bit of a tassel at the ends for decoration (and to make sure your knot doesn’t slip!) Note: To add clasps just knot the three strings and start your pattern. Go back after you are finished and add your crimp ends and clasps. For a multi-layered bracelet you will need to add one foot of length per additional wrap to all strings. EXAMPLE: ? Normal one-wrap you need 2 feet of border and 3-4 feet of beading string. ? Two …

@erinbrookemcdonald lol, my hater-eliminator at work I see. <3
It wont let me watch on ipod
@MrExplosion93 Man, wrong video.. I thought this was the directory video for a second… but anyway…
This one I disabled on mobiles because people can’t see the annotations. They’re constantly commenting saying I didn’t show everything when I did, it’s just that they didn’t watch the video fully. The annotation explains I do the start/finishing and then show the beading- they stop watching before the beading happens.I
‘ll PROBABLY re-do the video since it isn’t the best quality… maybe.
Thnx for the tip on glueing the tip of the thread for eay stringing…thnx for sharin the video too…:)
@BeyondBracelets thanks for the work. I love those!
@thejonesbunch Thanks. Enjoy!
Thank you! Perfect–this instructional video is exactly what I was looking for, now I know a new technique!!
i saw this exact thing at walmart today and i was mad that they think they can charge like $5 for something i can make for myself
@K8e92 Yeah, it’s nice being able to make something for next to nothing and to top it off you have the pride from knowing you made it.
@belukro Glad you enjoyed it, have fun!
@K8e92 and i’ve found that the “brand name” versions can cost up to $30! that’s crazy. i’d much rather make my own and show it off.
Thank you for this video it was very helpful!!!:)
thank you so much for taking the time to show us. It is like having an instructor sitting side by side with you while doing this. you saved me $25 dollars for cancelling the beading class for this.
I just got a question for you. I know how to do for one row, but if I want to add multiple rows to the bracelet you have shown . Do I increase the outer rows to make it looks like a cuff , instead of a wrap?
Thanks you so much, looking forward for more of your videos
@wonton71 The multi-stranded ones with beads between the strands? You’d need to make a base of one, add in a string beside it and bead between the new strand and the ‘completed’ strand to elongate it some. I’m not sure if that’s what you were asking… but yeah. I guess I could try to do a tutorial on making a larger cuff out of them when I get some time.
@djinnthespazz Well, I have severe Sleep Apnea and it’s so bad that I never really sleep… and when I do it’s only 20 minutes or so at a time…so yeah. I’m nearly always out of it since I’m just so exhausted… Fortunately I’m close to getting a machine to help me breath at night so maybe I’ll sound better soon.
Anyway, You’re quite welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial.
Thank you so much for uploading this video! It was really helpful!
i use clear nail polish at the ends of the strings and kind twist them until they are dry and they work well
(super glue scares me…too many accidents haha). And this is the tutorial is exactly what I was looking for. I watched another one by beading aunts and she wanted us to get like 10 or 20 feet of string and i was like um…yea no. My brain will explode.
@BeyondBracelets yes please do that!!! that would be awesome cause there aren’t any videos on YouTube to show how to make a layered wrap bracelet
Thank you! These are really helpful instructions; I’ve been wanting to make one of these for a while and now I have. It only took a couple of hours even though I braided my own rope to do it!
Thank you so much for sharing!
LOVE IT!!! AWESOME
Thank you so much for uploading this video, it’s so good! thank you, thankyou, thank you and your bracelet looks really great in the end by the way
@KannikaIamphongdee Haha, I didn’t like the materials I used. I was meaning to do this with leather and glass beads (or stone) but at 3am when I made this video a craft store run would be out of the question. I still haven’t gotten around to making a really nice one… maybe I should get on that. =x
those are so cool!
Clear and simple, thank you.
Hi I like your tutorials they are very precise and easy to follow and I for one appreciate you taking the time to do it. Thanks Suz
